Does our booth space include carpet or furniture?
Are exhibitors required to have carpet in their booth space?

Does our booth space include carpet or furniture?
Yes. Your booth comes with black carpet, 2 chairs, 6 black draped table, and a waste basket. All linear booth spaces include 8 back drape, 3 side drape and a booth ID sign.

Are exhibitors required to have carpet in their booth space?
Yes, all MFV Expositions shows are fully carpeted events. Carpet cleaning must be ordered separately.

Are there discounted hotels in the area?
Franchise Expo Houston has partnered with Marriot Marquis Houston to provide discounted rates. Book your hotel reservations. Please reserve by Monday, September 7, 2019 at 5:00 PM.

How do I gather leads from the attendees?
All attendee badges have their name, an ID number and a bar code.  e-Vents Registration can provide you with multiple methods to gather this information to make your follow up easy.

When and where do I ship my show materials?
You can either send your freight to the advance shipping warehouse (preferred) or directly to the convention center.

Please refer to the online exhibitor manual for shipping and material handling rates and how to address your shipments.

We recommend that exhibitors use LTL shippers that have had tradeshow experience. 

Our Official supplier for exhibition material transportation company is Quad Express and they will be on site the entire show to assist with your exhibition needs.

Advance Shipments to the Warehouse: Freight may start to arrive at the Advance Warehouse on September 4, 2019 up to on September 27, 2019 @4:00 pm. If you ship to the advanced warehouse, your freight will be delivered to your booth at the convention center by Thursday morning, October 3, 2019. Material handling fees are higher if shipped to the advance warehouse.

Direct Shipping to the Convention Center: Direct shipments to the Convention Center have to arrive on Thursday, October 3, 2019from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Shipments delivered prior to this date will be refused. Shipments delivered directly to the Convention Center will be delivered to your booth as they are received.
What happens at the end of the show?
Exhibitors are prohibited for Breaking down their exhibits prior to 4:00 pm on October 5, 2019. Exhibitor move out is Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm sharp.

Can I set up my own booth or do I have to hire labor?
Exhibitors can only install and/or dismantle their own display if the total time for installation does not take more than thirty (30) minutes for one person to complete without the use of tools. Unless you are in an island booth, the maximum height of a booth is 8’.

Can I bring in my own material?
Exhibitors may hand carry items onto show floor as long as your materials can be transported by one person without a 4 wheeled dolly.

What is drayage?
Drayage is the transporting of exhibitor material from the loading dock to a booth and then back to the loading dock at the end of the show.  All exhibitors shipping material to the convention center will incur a drayage/material handling charge.

Does our booth space come with electric?
Electrical is not included in standard booth packages. You may order electrical service through Smart City, the GRB Convention Center official service provider.

Are discounts available for show services (carpet, furniture, electric, etc.)
Some show vendors provide a discounted rate on their services provided to orders submitted by a specific date. The due dates listed on all order forms refers to the date the discounted rates expire. All services are available after the deadline dates and on site but at a substantially higher cost.

What if I wish to sample food or beverages?
You can sample food as it relates to your concept within the Levy Catering guidelines.
